Chapel of the Bells ~ Sienna & Matt

Rare gems can be found in the darndest of places. Fourth Street in downtown Reno, Nevada has been a host to a variety of businesses over the course of its history, from tattoo parlors, dive bars, artist studios, community bike shops, and the like, but one that stands out is Chapel of the Bells—a wedding chapel where couples in love can tie the knot quickly and inexpensively, with a genuine touch of elegance. Mixing the eccentric with the traditional, Chapel of the Bells oozes history and the prospect of lifelong love from its walls. For 56 years, the chapel has married over 100,000 couples, including one of its latest—Sienna & Matt.

Like the chapel, Sienna & Matt are a stand out couple. They have a strong respect and curiosity for history, but couple it with their own, unique artistic touch. Their journey through life together is far from ordinary, as reflected from their choice in wedding venue. They focus on what’s important to them—their everlasting love for one another, and share it with only their closest of friends and family. I am deeply grateful for being invited to photograph the intimate wedding of Sienna & Matt. I know the two of you will script only the most interesting, thoughtful, caring of lives together.
