THE FORESTHILL FANTASY

Tacky soil is a fantasy for riders from Lake Tahoe. From decomposed granite fall line shots to blown out dusty corners, our trails can be sloppy, loose, and a real wild ride. Although we embrace and learn to love what our mama gave us, Tahoe riders can appreciate the finer side of mountain biking—a land where the dirt retains the optimal amount of moisture, compacts well, and cradles our tires through the turns just the way we like it. Fortunately, for us, this fantasyland is only a hop in the truck, a 20 spot in the gas tank to skip our way down the interstate, and a jump on our bikes away. We call this magical land—Foresthill.
